1. Use EB Content in the Hiring Process

Your employer brand doesn't stop at the careers page.

Content shared throughout the hiring process can increase candidate engagement.

Consistent delivery of company values and culture can reduce dropouts and increase offer acceptance. Here are some ways to do it:

Incorporate Content into Outreach Emails

  • Use links to your careers page, blog, or employee stories in your initial outreach.
  • This gives candidates a glimpse into your company’s culture, values, and what makes you unique.

Interview Prep

  • Provide candidates with a short deck or PDF before interviews.
  • Include details about your mission, team values, and what sets your company apart.
  • This helps candidates feel more prepared and connected to your company.

Onboarding

  • After a candidate accepts an offer, continue engaging them with employer brand content.
  • Examples include a welcome video from the team or a guide to your company culture.

2. Share Employee Stories

Employee stories add authenticity and build trust by showing the real people behind your brand.

‘A day in the life’ features are a simple format that walk through a typical day in the roles you’re hiring for.

Quick Framework for Employee Stories

  • Where to distribute: social posts, careers page or outreach messaging
  • Type of content: video, graphic or text format
  • What to include: employees day-today, career journeys, achievements or unique projects they’ve worked on. A simple Q&A format works well.

This type of content is versatile meaning you could build it once and distribute it across multiple channels.

3. Celebrate New Hires Publicly

Welcoming new hires isn’t just about making them feel valued, it’s also a lever to attract further talent.

New hires are usually highly engaged and excited to share news (content). This makes them great ambassadors for your brand and reinforces your company as a desirable place to work.

Easy Framework for Announcement Posts

  • Name:
  • Role:
  • Quick bio (e.g. their previous role / experience):
  • What excites them about joining:
  • Fun fact about them (optional):

This simple post helps showcase the type of talent your company attracts and builds excitement around your team.
